Spicy Garlic Chips / French Fries With Mayo

A must make when you have guests around. Easy, quick and delicious. Your guests will be craving for more so better have them prepared :)


Potatoes – 5 pcs, peel, wash and cut in strips       Garlic – 8 cloves, crushed

Butter – 2 tbsp                                                                  Paprika – 1 tbsp

Black Pepper – ½ tsp                                                     Mayonnaise – 2 tbsp (or as per your liking)

Coriander – 2 tbsp                                                          Salt – As per taste                                                           

A dash of lemon


* Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry cut potato strips in oil till golden brown. Keep aside.

* Melt butter in another pan on low heat.

* Add crushed garlic till golden (do not burn). Add fried potato strips. Sprinkle salt, black pepper, paprika and coriander. Toss well till all incorporated with butter and garlic.

* Remove in a serving plate and squeeze a dash of lemon. Drizzle mayonnaise in a spiral motion over garlic chips.  Serve.

Note: Drying chips thoroughly makes them more crispier than from water to oil pan.
