Spicy Garlic Chips - The Kenyan Way!!

These are the best garlic fries and everyone in my family goes gaga over them...A must try for all those who love garlic and potatoes....! I don't really have pictures to post but the next time I make them will surely post them up....

Ingredients:

Potatoes – 5 pcs, peel, wash and cut in strips       Garlic – 8 cloves, crushed

Butter – 2 tbsp                                                                  Paprika – 1 tbsp

Black Pepper – ½ tsp                                                     Corriander – 2 tbsp

Salt – As per taste                                                            A dash of lemon

Method:

* Heat oil in a pan. Dry potato strips thoroughly with a towel. Deep fry cut potato strips in oil till golden brown. Keep aside.

* Melt butter in another pan on low heat.

* Add crushed garlic till golden (do not burn). Add fried potato strips. Sprinkle salt, black pepper, paprika and coriander. Toss well till all incorporated with butter and garlic.

* Remove in a serving plate and squeeze a dash of lemon. Serve.

Note: Drying chips thoroughly makes them more crispier than from water to oil pan.
