Butter Chips / French Fries

Nothing better than to have a bowl full of butter French fries waiting for you to indulge in on a summer afternoon. Or maybe surprise the kids on their way home...they just love these:)


Potatoes – 8 pcs, peel, wash and cut in strips            Butter -3tbsp                                                                     

Paprika – 2 tbsp                                                                               Black Pepper – ½ tsp                                    

Salt – As per taste                                                            A dash of lemon

Oil – 1/3 pan full


* Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry cut potato strips in oil till golden brown. Keep aside.

* Melt butter in another pan on low heat.

*Add fried potato strips. Sprinkle salt, black pepper and paprika. Toss well till all incorporated with butter.

* Remove in a serving plate and squeeze a dash of lemon. Serve.

Note: Drying chips thoroughly makes them more crispier than from water to oil pan.
          : Add more paprika if you like your food on the fiery side :)..but be sure to keep a glass of fruit juice handy...u just never know :)
